2/11/09:  Support Kevin Warmath’s Family http://maxsell.net/warmath/

1/31: John Kevin Warmath, 43, passed away today 1/31 at 10:15am. Honoring his wishes his organs will be used to save many other lives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3rd at 4pm at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd.,Roswell, GA 30075. Visitation begins at 2pm and the service will be held at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Warmath Children’s College fund. You can make donations at any SunTrust bank (checks payable to Sylvie Warmath) to the account #1000091724467.

1/30: They have taken Kevin off of his medications but he is still on the ventilator. Kevin wanted to be an organ donor and Sylvie is honoring his wish. That will happen when there is no sign of brain activity. It could be within 24 hours, but there is no way of knowing. Once that occurs he will be cremated and a service will take place.

1/29: We received an update on Kevin and unfortunately it is not a good one. The doctors have done a cat scan and discovered that Kevin’s brain has swollen and that he is realistically no longer with us. According to the doctors he has no chance of survival at this point. They are going to keep him on a ventilator for 24 hours and take him off first thing in the morning.

Please continue to pray for strength and understanding for Kevin’s family.

What do you do when you don’t know what to do?

I make decisions all the time with confidence, some would say with arrogance.  I am never one to feel a loss for decisive action.  I do what I think is right and get on with it.  However, tonight I am at a loss.  One of our agents, Kevin Warmath, is fighting for his life in an induced coma at the intensive care unit of St. Joseph’s hospital.  Kevin is one of the best Realtors I have ever known.  He is creative, witty, brilliant, caring, and proud of his family.  His clients find him a valuable resource and representative.  I am proud to call him a friend.

My friend is in a coma tonight as he fights to live.  Kevin suffered a heart attack last night and as I learned this news today I became numb.  Numb and focused.  Focused without direction.  Scared without immediate danger or threat.  Reminders of what matters.  What matters is Kevin.  What matters is Kevin recovering for his family.  Kevin recover.

Our small company is making food for Kevin’s family (wife & 3 kids) to help in the only way we know how.  Food, thoughts, love, prayers.  We pray for Kevin and his family.  We pray for strength and hope.  Real hope.  Yet, I sit here and wonder what else I should do?  so I write random thoughts and share them with the world.   Perhaps I’m at a loss because I see a lot of myself in Kevin.  Determined. Family focused. or perhaps it’s because I look up to Kevin, literally and figuratively.  He’s tall and he’s tall.

He would not want me to write anything about him without a quality backlink.
