Julia:
I am just learning about MyNextDeal.com and if I get any confirmation on who can claim the listings, then I will let you know. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks for the update on Loop.Net--It certainly has a lot of users in Southern Calif. I don't know anything about MyNextDeal.com, but posters to any listing service should check out their terms carefully. Our California Association of Realtors has just published an article describing various real estate sites that may take licensing rights from your listing and actually allow another broker to claim it as their listing!

if you are a loopnet premium member, your listings are on a dedicated url that looks like this:

http://www.loopnet.com/MyListings/john@realestate.com

where the email is the email you use for logging in to loopnet. so just submitting this url to mynextdeal is all you have to do.

for non-premium members, i think they need to submit listings one by one.

I just discovered MyNextDeal.com a few days ago and was wondering what method brokers use to get their listings posted? Do you submit a feed or individual LoopNet URL's?

We have always used LoopNet but we also boost our listing exposure by submitting our LoopNet urls to www.MyNextDeal.com which indexes the listings and drives lots of traffic to them. It's a pretty cool service for increasing exposure.

Glad you agree. Some people still think Costar is the way to go and I just think LoopNet is killing them on user-friendliness and the Google juice is hard to beat.
