The Real Estate Tomato recently posted 5 Strategies To Developing Quick and Beneficial Blog Content and while they are great tips, they left out a great tool called a swicki by Eurekster. I posted a swicki on my blog over a month ago. Not only has the swicki helped deliver more information to my blog readers via social searches, but it has helped me create content that my readers want to know more about.
Swicki is a social search engine created by Eurekster. Swickis, like wikis, are collaborative, so users can modify and improve the focus of the search engine.
When someone searches my swicki Eurekster sends me an email with their search terms. I then use these search topics to fine tune my content or generate a new direction for my blog posts. If one week I get a lot of people searching for more news about real estate growth in Canton, then I blog more about the growth in Canton. It’s a sure-fire way of knowing that I deliver content my readers are seeking.
